Returns and Refunds Policy

Returns and Refunds at Sartodrapia

Our structural returns framework functions in strict alignment with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which is set out under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) . Under these domestic regulations, consumers across Australia receive foundational consumer promises that cannot be excluded, restricted, or altered by corporate policies.

Sartodrapia ensures that our practices remain entirely aligned with the regulatory standards monitored by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) .

Temporal Boundaries of Coverage

Our return structure operates within a definitive thirty-day window. This coverage phase begins on the exact calendar date the third-party logistics courier hands the package to the consumer at the designated Australian delivery address.

To remain eligible for assessment under this framework, consumers must submit their formal notifications to dress@sartodrapia.com before this 30-day timeline expires. Requests received outside this 30-day boundary cannot be processed under our standard infrastructure.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If an apparel item arrives with a structural fault, physical damage sustained during transit, or is entirely different from the style, colour, or size accepted during checkout, the consumer holds immediate rights to remediation.

Notification Phase

Upon identifying a manufacturing fault or delivery error, the customer must send an electronic notification to dress@sartodrapia.com detailing the exact issue.

Complimentary Collection

Once we receive the notification, we coordinate a reverse-logistics courier to collect the package directly from the customer's doorstep. We bear the complete cost of this courier pickup, ensuring the consumer faces zero outward fees or delivery charges.

Restocking and Operational Charges

We maintain a zero-fee infrastructure for returns management. We do not apply any restocking levies, handling deductions, administrative fees, or reprocessing penalties to any return transactions.

Warehouse Evaluation and Resolution Paths

Every returned item collected by our logistics network undergoes a mandatory inspection procedure at our central Australian facility.

Assessment Window

Our inventory team holds the garment for a strict twenty-four-hour assessment window from the moment it physically arrives at our facility. This time is used to examine the garment's condition and verify the reported structural defect.

Resolution Steps

Following the conclusion of our twenty-four-hour assessment, we initiate one of two actions based on our inventory status:

  • Item Replacement: We prepare and dispatch an identical replacement garment to the customer's address at no additional cost.
  • Remittance Trigger: If an identical item is unavailable due to inventory depletion, or if the structural defect cannot be adequately repaired, we initiate a full refund.

Remittance Framework via Bank Transfer

Because Sartodrapia operates exclusively through a Cash on Delivery (COD) payment structure, our digital platform does not request, store, or possess any billing account details or credit card profiles belonging to our customers.

  • Detail Acquisition: To process a passed refund, our support desk will contact the customer via email from dress@sartodrapia.com to obtain their domestic bank details.
  • Transaction Execution: Upon receiving the bank details, we initiate a direct bank transfer for the full original purchase price.
  • Processing Timelines: The transfer takes up to 7 business days to clear and reflect in the customer's bank account, depending entirely on the operational rules of the specific banking institution.

Change of Mind Exclusion

In strict accordance with the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law , businesses are not legally required to accept returns or issue refunds if a consumer simply changes their mind.

Sartodrapia does not accept returns, facilitate item exchanges, or issue bank refunds if a customer alters their personal preference, decides they dislike the style, or determines they no longer want the garment after delivery has been completed. We encourage all consumers to review their sizing, fabric selections, and styling requirements thoroughly before accepting their purchases.

Customer Support Access

For any questions regarding this policy or to initiate a return request, our support team remains accessible from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), Monday through Friday , excluding national public holidays. Inquiries should be sent to dress@sartodrapia.com .
